Mt. Pleasant Temporium
We at Bookstruction are honored to be one of the artists featured at the Mount Pleasant Temporium over the next month or so. What is it, you ask? The Temporium is a temporary, pop-up retail craft store! It features handmade goods from DC-area crafters and artists, in addition to hosting a bunch of special events.
The Mt. Pleasant Temporium is only expected to be around for about a month, starting in February and will be at 3068 Mt. Pleasant St. in NW. Be sure to stop by to check out the great local crafts for sale – don’t miss out!
We here at Bookstruction were thrilled to learn that we came in Second Place in the voting for Craftiest Bastard! It’s very exciting for our first Crafty Bastards (and in fact our first show ever!) to get such a great reception. Congrats to the winners and to all the other crafty bastards who participated. Thanks to the Washington City Paper and Hello Craft for organizing and hosting the show, and to Etsy for sponsoring the Craftiest Bastard contest.
But especially, we wish to sincerely thank everyone who voted for us, both online and in person at Crafty Bastards. Your votes and your support mean a lot to us! Thanks again!
Craftiest Bastard voting extended till Oct. 10th!
The organizers of last week’s Crafty Bastards have extended the online voting for Craftiest Bastard until tomorrow, October 10th.
We appreciate the incredible interest from everyone who visited our booth last week, and we want to say thank you for voting for us! Bookstruction is currently in the Top 10 candidates for Craftiest Bastard! If you haven’t already, be sure to add your vote!
Crafty Bastards Aftermath
Wow! Crafty Bastards was held yesterday here in DC, and it was an awesome day all around! Beautiful weather, tons of great artists, and massive throngs of browsers and shoppers. Personally, Crafty Bastards was a huge success for us at Bookstruction – we sold nearly 90% of the pieces we brought!
Thanks so much to the organizers of Crafty Bastards for a great show, and thanks to all of you who visited us yesterday and made our experience unforgettable (and exhausting!). And if you liked what you saw, be sure to vote for us as the Craftiest Bastard! (Voting runs till October 8th).
We’re Crafty Bastards!
